

Betsy wrote and directed the Off-Broadway hit THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK
MUSICAL, which THE NEW YORK SUN called it "South Park meets Desperate Housewives,"
and THE NEW YORK TIMES called "a bright new show with an altogether terrific cast."
The show is currently touring the U.S. and playing regionally. (soundtrack available)
Betsy is currently developing a project for ABC FAMILY with Mark Waters (Director of
Mean Girls) and is a founding member of the popular all-female sketch-comedy team
SHIRLEY CHICKENPANTS, which won praise from TALK, STUFF, PAPER, BUST, TIME OUT
NEW YORK, THE VILLAGE VOICE and PLAYBOY: "They put the scat in sketch
comedy...female comics can be both sexy and capable of delivering a well-timed barb."
Betsy also performed improv and sketch comedy with "Spilt Milk," working in-house at
Caroline's in New York and touring clubs and colleges along the East Coast.
She has written and performed for BEHIND THE MUSIC THAT SUCKS, an animated parody
series in which she can be heard as the voices of Courtney Love, Jennifer Lopez, Cher
and all three Dixie Chicks. Betsy is also known for her impersonations of Sandy Duncan,
Bebe Neuwirth and Karen Carpenter and can be seen in a current episode of HANNAH
MONTANA ("It's a Mannequin's World"), Disney Channel's new hit TV series starring Billy
Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus. She toured the United States with the comedy "Just For
Laughs, A Day With Gates & Mills," starring Tim Conway and Tom Poston, and Europe with
"The Rocky Horror Show," for which she also served as Assistant Director and
Choreographer. She has performed in many other musicals, too, including "Annie," "Sugar
Babies," "City of Angels" and "Grand Hotel."
In the book world, Betsy is published alongside writers such as Bruce McCall, Cynthia
Heimel and Craig Bierko in 101 DAMNATIONS: A HUMORIST'S TOUR OF PERSONAL HELLS.
Betsy is a gradulate of the University of Maryland, where she majored in Journalism and
minored in Theatre.
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
