

Betsy wrote and directed the Off-Broadway hit THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK
MUSICAL, which THE NEW YORK SUN called "South Park meets Desperate Housewives,"
and THE NEW YORK TIMES called "a bright new show with an altogether terrific cast."
The show is currently touring and playing regionally throughout the U.S. and the U.K.
(soundtrack available). Betsy also provided additional comedic material for the musical
GIRLS NIGHT, which is also currently playing throughout the U.S. and the U.K.
In New York, she was a founding member of the popular all-female sketch-comedy team
SHIRLEY CHICKENPANTS, which won praise from TALK, STUFF, PAPER, BUST, TIME OUT
NEW YORK, THE VILLAGE VOICE and PLAYBOY, which said: "They put the scat in sketch
comedy...female comics can be both sexy and capable of delivering a well-timed barb."
Betsy also performed improv and sketch comedy with "Spilt Milk," working in-house at
Caroline's in New York and touring clubs and colleges along the East Coast.
She has written and performed for BEHIND THE MUSIC THAT SUCKS, an animated parody
series on FUSE Network in which she can be heard as the voices of Courtney Love,
Jennifer Lopez, Cher and all three Dixie Chicks. Betsy is also known for her
impersonations of Sandy Duncan, Bebe Neuwirth and Karen Carpenter and can be seen in
the first season of HANNAH MONTANA on Disney Channel. Onstage, she toured the
United States with the comedy "Just For Laughs, A Day With Gates & Mills," starring
Tim Conway and Tom Poston, and Europe with "The Rocky Horror Show," for which she
also served as Assistant Director and Choreographer. In the book world, Betsy is
published alongside Andy Borowitz, Cynthia Heimel, Craig Bierko and many others in
101 DAMNATIONS: A HUMORIST'S TOUR OF PERSONAL HELLS.
She is currently developing a TV series with Universal Music Group, and she recently
developed a project for ABC FAMILY with with Watermark Pictures (headed by Mark
Waters, Director of "Mean Girls," "The Ghost of Girlfriends Past" and "The Spiderwick
Chronicles.")
